Description

Mango Mousse Dessert Cups! With buttery shortbread crumbles as the crisp component, ripe mangoes in a velvety puree and fluffy whipped cream. Layer by layer you finish this refreshing and delicious dessert!

Follow my easy step-by-step method for these fresh and fruity dessert cups! 🥭

Ingredients:
  • 140 grams short bread
  • 30 grams butter (melted)
  • 1 big mango (app. 450 g)
  • 100 grams whipped cream
  • 6 pepermint leaves (optional for decoration)
step by step method:
  1. 1st step:Dessert Cups with cookie crumbs

    First, crumble the shortbread (you can also crush it if you like) and mix with the melted butter.

  2. 2nd step:Mango Puree for Mango Dessert Cups

    Peel clean and cut the mango into cubes and set aside 6 small cubes for the decoration. Puree the remaining mango cubes. Fill your whipped cream into a piping bag with a round tip.

  3. 3rd step:

    Now start layering! First fill one-third of the crumbs equally into 6 dessert cups: 12 cl = 4 oz. Pipe in the next layer of whipped cream, using a third. Now spoon half of the pureed mango mixture on top.

  4. 4th step:Mango Dessert Cups

    Redo the second step for filling. Now you should have one-third of short bread crumbs and a third of whipped cream left. Close up the cups with the crumbs. Decorate your desserts with the remaining whipped cream, the set-aside mango cubes, and some peppermint leaves as desired. (Use my picture as a reference if you like.)

Feel free to chill the dessert cups before serving.

I used 6 dessert glasses (4 oz = 12 cl) you may adjust the ingredients for bigger or for more glasses.
